Wheel Re-Invention

My talk at BA World was (well, still is) going to be called “Requirements-based Testing” and walk attendees through a set of techniques I’ve built up for rapidly developing and executing test cases with maximum coverage.
I should Google these things first. There is, in fact, a set of techniques with that name, which I had never previously heard of, but which are almost identical to what I’d come up with.
Ah well. I shouldn’t be surprised; all I did was pick out the test development and execution methods most useful to BAs. It’s not surprising that someone else had done something similar, and after doing so picked a fairly obvious name for it (and, based on the publication dates, done so at roughly the same time I did).
