sharepoint 2016

ILTA’s SharePoint || Office 365 Symposium is being held in Baltimore this week and our own Sean Coleman will be presenting there, along with Ted Theodoropoulos of Acrowire.  Recently Joanne Kiley, ILTA’s content curator, spoke with Sean and Ted about their session, “SharePoint 2016: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly”.  In their conversation, Sean and Ted provided a few hints as to what attendees could anticipate learning at the breakout session. You can read the full interview at ILTA’s blog.

A few highlights:

  • The Good:  SharePoint 2016 offers an improved user interface, and a unique hybrid solution for those firms who aren’t yet ready to commit to a full off-site Cloud migration.  This helps users access all important information, independent of where it lives.
  • The Bad and the Ugly:  The focus of this part of the session will be global privacy laws and the particular concerns of the legal industry where cloud migration is concerned.  Sean and Ted will share experiences they’ve had with customers’ migrating from on-premise to the cloud.

“SharePoint 2016: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly” will be presented at the symposium on June 8, from 1:30 – 2:30.  We hope you’ll stop by and see Sean and Ted, especially if you’ve been putting off a cloud migration or have questions or concerns.  The rollout of SharePoint 2016 is the perfect time to start your firm’s data migration.  Even if a fully off-site solution isn’t for you, BA Insight’s software portfolio makes it easy to access your data, no matter where it’s housed.  You can also visit us at booth #20.
