BA Insight recently hosted a webcast called Delivering Search-Based Applications on Top of SharePoint and FAST. This webcast is very relevant to the topic of where search is headed, because in it, two special guests share their perspectives and experiences deploying Search-Based Applications.
Sue Feldman, VP Search and Discovery Technologies from IDC presented her perspective on where search is headed. Next up, leading law firm Morris Nichols shared their experience deploying SharePoint Search, and then building an SBA on top of that infrastructure. Finally, BA-Insight presented a new SBA built on top of SharePoint and FAST called Document Assembly.
