New Job
June 7, 2007 |
Tomorrow is my last day with blue sands Inc. I will be moving into a full-time role with the IIBA, working to build out our presence, increase the benefits for our membership, and get the organization ready to handle the growth we expect to see in the business analysis profession. This is in addition to my role as VP, Body of Knowledge, which will remain a volunteer position.
I will be taking some short-term contracts outside the IIBA as well–particularly involving strategic-level consulting, process architecture and similar. I’ll slowly update the site to describe those services, but my main focus for the next year will be the IIBA.
I’m really excited to have this opportunity and looking forward to helping to build the BA community. See you in Boston!

How do I find a Business Analyst with 10 years of experience and BABOK experience with an Insurance background? I am trying to fill a perm position in Seattle WA.
Have you tried contacting the Seattle chapter of the IIBA? They might be a good place to start.
Congratulations on the move into the IIBA! I am the VP of Professional Development/Membership for the Pittsburgh Chapter of the IIBA. I have your blog on my google reader!
Your job meshes closely with many of the chapter board members who have the goal of increasing membership. We are currently working on putting together an information packet to have out for local technology events. Does the National organization have any formal fliers/brochures available?
Good luck with your new position!
