BABOK Volunteer Opportunities

We currently have the following needs. All positions are open for IIBA members only:

Business Rules Reviewer for the BABOK

One person experienced with Business Rules methodologies (including the development, management, and implementation of business rules) to review the structure of the BABOK and determine if any changes are required. This role is needed in the short term and will require significant effort in the next few months, and then will have an ongoing role in BABOK development.

Education Co-ordinator

Assist with the development of a policy for re-use of BABOK materials by thrid parties, particularly education providers, and then assist with approving requests for reuse as required. An ongoing role that will require a few hours per week. This person may not be affiliated with any training or educational providers.

Layout

We could use assistance with the production and layout of the next release of the BABOK. This person should have some desktop publishing experience and have access to appropriate tools (preferably including DTP software, and certainly the ability to produce a PDF file, including table of contents and bookmarks). Rapid turnaround of the document (within 1 week of delivery to the volunteer) will be required.

    I’d be interested in contributing to the BABoK. I’m interested in either the business rules reviewer or layout roles if they aren’t filled yet.
