Did You Miss Me?
November 7, 2006 |
I’m back from the honeymoon. I’ve been catching up on work and preparing for a conference in Orlando (the World Congress of Business Analysts, which started yesterday). At the moment I’m in Pearson Airport waiting for my plane. My wife is complaining that I’m not only abandoning her with my cats, but I’ve stolen our only computer as well. We really need to get an iMac for the apartment…
Regular BABOK™ blogging should resume shortly. We’ll be doing a lot of planning at the conference, as most of the core team will be present, including Brenda Kerton (Info-Tech Research Group), Kitty Hass (Management Concepts), Mary Gorman (EBG Consulting), Barb Carkenord (B2TTraining) and Rich and Elizabeth Larson (Watermark Learning), as well as most of the IIBA Executive. On Friday, the first batch of BAs will be writing the certification exam.
Speaking of B2TTraining, I have an article in the most recent (Fall 2006) issue of the Bridge magazine (downloadable at the link) which discusses how to figure out which BA techniques you should learn to do your job.
OK, enough of that. Actual content with the next post, I promise.
