| User Intentions | System Responsibilities |
|---|---|
| User opens application and does something for no reason I can think of. | |
| System cries at user stupidity | |
| User laughs manically and then kicks the system | |
| System asks user if it wants to take things outside. | |
| User says “let’s go” |
This use case was developed (and admittedly it’s not a very good one) using a free tool called TaskSketch. TaskSketch also posted it to this blog, and has tools built in for automatically generating Activity Diagrams, Robustness Diagrams and sketching User Interface Designs.
Considering that TaskSketch is a free tool, it’s incredibly impressive. I can easily see it being the only tool an Agile team would need for requirements development. It only supports Essential Use Cases, so it would be a little lightweight for most methods, but for the ones that can use it it’s incredible. Expecially considering that it’s free.
Of course, it’s Mac-only. Which may explain why I’d never heard of it before.
