Kevin Brennan, CBAP™, PMP, is one of the original members of the IIBA and serves on its Board of Directors as the Vice-President, Body of Knowledge. I am responsible for the development of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge and also was one of the authors of the CBAP exam.
I have over a decade’s experience as a business analyst and project manager across several industry sectors, including regulated professions, utilities, automobile manufacturing, courier services, and mortgage banking. During this time I have performed just about every task a business analyst could be expected to do, from developing corporate and product strategies to being paged by end-users looking for technical support. I am now working primarily as an internal consultant for the IIBA, but am available for the occasional short-term engagement elsewhere (and the IIBA’s budget would appreciate that, too).
I have taught project management and requirements analysis at Humber College, have a B.A. degree in History and Political Science from the University of Toronto, and am a graduate of the Second City’s improvisational comedy program.
