VP Product Management
The VP of Product Management is responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. The job also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

The VP of Product Management’s job also includes managing one direct report, Director of Product Marketing, and ensuring successful product launches, demos to customers, and production of sales collaterals.

Job Specifications:
  • Define the product strategy and roadmap
  • Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
  • Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
  • Propose an overall budget to ensure success

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  • 10+ years of experience in a job in the Information Management market. Enterprise Search and Content Analytics experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. MBA preferred
  • Technical background, with experience in software development
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Must be able to travel to Boston or New York one-day a week

Technical Writer
We're looking for a top-notch Technical Writer, who loves working developing compelling content for great software and solving challenging problems quickly. Our products make SharePoint and FAST Search universal and actionable, and they interoperate with many different systems. Responsibilities:
  • Create user guides, reference manuals, and on-line help through collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality documentation
  • Gather input for product documentation from product specifications, existing documentation, and meetings and email with technical staff
  • This position can be contract-to-perm or permanent
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years experience writing similar technical documentation for a software development company
  • Proficiency with MadCap or a widely used authoring product such as FrameMaker, Acrobat, and WebWorks
  • Excellent interviewing skills in order to write structured content based on information provided by developers/engineers
  • Ability to quickly grasp and communicate technical concepts

  • Create prototypes as well as production code. Contribute across the full software development life cycle ranging from technology selection, prototyping, architecture and delivery

  • Design and mockup user experience to ensure consistency and coherent, delightful-to-use products

The candidate will act as a business partner with the company leadership, planning and implementing IT solutions to enable the company to continue its rapid growth. The role has accountability for all aspects of company infrastructure encompassing, network architecture, datacenter operations, application management policies and standards. The right candidate will view IT as a service organization with each employee their customer. This individual must have high end troubleshooting and organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and administer systems and networks including phone systems, end-user laptops, databases, server infrastructure, web servers, firewalls,  for a global organization
  • Identify and assist in the prioritization of IT projects, initiatives and needs with the business
  • Manage backup, security and disaster recovery solutions
  • Manage projects through the entire deployment lifecycle
  • Hands-on administration of key business systems including Salesforce.com, SharePoint, QuickBooks
